     Winnemucca Police Department  is asking your help to find a 16 year old girl. Savanna Brin is 5 feet tall and weighs 128 pounds. She has long blonde hair, blue eyes and a lip piercing.
     She has family in Texas, Rhode Island and Pensylvania and that might be where she is heading.
     If you have any information that could help find Savanna Brin then contact the Winnemucca Police Department at 623-6396 or Humboldt County Dispatch at 623-6429.
    
<<RUNAMUCCA COLLISION-- BIKE VS DEER >>

    Two motorists taken down by one deer on state route 290 about five miles from its intersection with u.s. 95. One of the riders was flown directly to Reno  and is in serious condition. The other rider went to Humboldt General Hospital and then air lifted from HGH to Reno in serious condition. We will keep you posted on the condition of the riders.

<< BREAKING STUFF IN JAIL >>

     Tommie Lee Jones was sentenced last Tuesday for punching a Humboldt County Detention Center kiosk, destroying it. He was convicted at a jury trial of damaging Humboldt County property and fined $3,325 in restitution. His lawyer said he had been in jail for more than a year on what he felt were trumped up charges. In addition topay restitution, he will have to pay legal fees, and he is put on probation for 36 months.
